The 2026 Honda Passport has been honored with an “Adventure Vehicle of the Year” award by the editors of GearJunkie. The rugged Passport and Passport TrailSport earned top honors in the 2-row SUV category.
This marks the second time Honda has won a GearJunkie Adventure Vehicle of the Year award, with the 2024 Honda Transalp 750 named Best Motorcycle in 2023.
What GearJunkie Said About the Honda Passport:
“The 2026 Honda Passport is all-new, featuring a more aggressive appearance and enhanced off-road capability, particularly in TrailSport trim. It hit the market in early 2025, and despite the lack of a low-range transfer case, it has a host of compelling off-road features that give it legitimate adventure chops. The parts come together to make an impressively civilized and capable package, on- and off-road.”
GearJunkie’s annual “Adventure Vehicle of the Year” awards honor the best on- and off-road adventure vehicles to hit market over the last 12 months. This year, after testing a variety of new, adventurous vehicles, the editors of GearJunkie awarded eight vehicles, recognizing each as the best in its respective category, and wholeheartedly recommending them to buyers looking for their next adventuremobile.
